Deus Coil Charging

Have I got a duff battery in my 6 month old Deus coil? After charging until the steady coil light reverts to intermediate flashing my remote control unit indicator only shows that the coil is about half charged. I then only get about 5 hours use out of the coil. Or do I have a fault with the remote control indicator?

When I check the coil charge on the remote control unit the indicator light flashes about every second. Is this normal, as I can find nothing in the handbook as to what the flashing frequency should be in this case?

Any help gratefully received before I send the coil back under warranty.

Hello okodenga1 ... I think its a common problem on the coil .. Its easy to fix .. Reinstall version 3.2 ( easy to do once you've downloaded the xp site to your desk top ) follow the step by step instructions , and it then shows the coil as fully charged on the control ( make sure you make a note of any new program's you've added as it wipes them )

I seem to be having this problem myself with the coil not showing fully charged. My Deus came with the 3.2, do I have to uninstall the 3.2 version, if so, how do you do that, or does the process of reinstalling take care of that.

Hello janner53 .. No need to uninstall the 3.2 , when you have download the xp site , it prompts you to instal version 3.2 then follow the steps ... It will wipe any new program's you have added though so make sure you make a note of them

It works a treat .
Before i downloaded the update I fully charged the remote control, coil and headphones like it said. Tho the coil light was flashing it showed the coil was half charged as it always did.
On completion of the download which went smoothly and was so easy the coil now shows fully charged

It should be permanent as it was just a "glitch" with the original 3.2, which has now been corrected by xp, so by re-loading 3.2 all should be good

Hi,
I had this prob myself, & the update still didnt solve it fully, what i did was run the machine flat, until it shut down its self, then all 3 items on charge together,
the reason for this was to allow the remote to learn what is a full charge & what is completley flat, works perfect now, all day & only down to half power, instead on 2 hours & flashing empty Coil.
