I have had no problems and my finds rate is still OK.

The Deus using the latest update and a certain programme from R/R are a pleasure to use.

I have gone from V1 to V2 then V3 and now V3.1 without any problem other than the short V3 hiccup corrected by Alain and his team. :) Jerry.

Well I haven't looked in here for a while but I'd say that a few who voted 'yes' early on would change their vote if they could to a 'no' now.

If an update fixed the depth 'meter' horseshoe issue and made it accurate again i'd be tempted to retry v3.1.

How are you new deus owners getting along with v3.1? Can you accurately judge the distance the target is below the surface before you dig it up? :-/

I broke the rule of only introducing one new varable and upgraded to 3.2 as well as 11" coil, mainly because new coil was on 3.2.

First real test yesterday on a new field, short stubble so I was on 9" coill same programe as V2.0, GMP modified to two tone, auto tracking, sens 90. Pulled my first silver roman (Julian II) and 11 other roman, including some tiny fragments and a gold plated copy Stater. Max depth was about 5". Dug less iron than usual, but that could have been field. No reason to turn back to V2.0 yet.

Its been a fair few months on from the last post and here I am with my trusty Deus, never been modified in any way, feeling as if I am now using a Victorian era appliance if everyone has moved up to V3 ... I have another post going where I am seeking advice on best settings for pasture and when someone suggested Garys settings, I thought that would do the job but see that is for V3 .. :-L
So, has V3 worked for those who chose to use it, or should I stay as I am with V2? Liam :-/

It takes some time to get used to. Treat it as if you've just bought it and it came with V3. You'll get used to it ::g
