Father's Day beach hunt

Post by tener »

Had a great Father's Day down the beach with my boy.
Spent 4 hours detecting and had some great finds, best ever for us on the beach.
Here's the list:
9x sixpence,1921(silver),1951,1953,1954,1956,
1957,1958,1960,1966
One penny x2 1967 other one to far gone to get a date.
Three pence. X2 1952,1943
Ship half penny x5 1956,1965,1942,1959 and 1 to far gone to date.
And £1.27 spendable.
A spoon and a pen knife, dog tag and some 303 bullet cases and a bottle top. Very little crap this time. The best trip to the beach we have ever had.
