These are typical target IDs for me on modern coins using the Deus.

£2 - 88
£1 - 83-86
50p - 68-69
20p - 71-72
10p- 64-66
5p - 56-59
2p - 90-92
1p - 89-91

These are using ID norm.

Older coins?

Ps I tested my gold necklace and it jumped around from mid to high 50s.

Its more sound than numbers, I have had deep targets read upper 80s and then read in the 60s when it comes out. Hammered "normally" come in at 60-70 on my machine (not that I've had many). I normally just dig anything above 30
all the gear, no idea!

Yes, I've noticed numbers changing sometimes before and after they are dug.

I put it down to saltwater conductivity on the beach but I think it can happen on soil when targets are at depth. Does anyone know why the target numbers can change?

After using the Deus almost since it was released I have eventually put the control in its scabbard and hang it from my belt preparing to go by ear alone. The program I use is Deus Fast, Disc 0, All Tone and GB tracking or manual when Tracking unstable. It is a matter of learning the tones and dig anything that does not sound like iron or coke and listen for the good tones in between the bad and any very faint tones that are good.

Keep it low keep it slow

Those numbers were based on my beach detecting. I was out on pasture tonight and noticed some coins came in a few numbers lower. Not sure why. :-/
