Bungee

Post by oldartefact »

Although no great finds to report yet ... I am getting used to the beast... however I've noted that the control box is becoming ever so slightly slack in its mounting. i'm slightly worried that it may fall off and was wondering where I can but a sitable bungee cord and then how would i fix this to the stem?

Thanks everyone ... All this has got me thinking is there a simple solution that involves 18 inches of 20lb fishing line and a couple of slip knots?

Yes one.. but it will take you for ever to untie them :D
Could be combined with these as an easy and cheap fix - http://img2.tradeee.com/photo/11237025/ ... Swivel.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks John... what i am thinking is this
Secure one end of the fishing line permanently to the control box using a half blood knot
at the other end create a loop which is big enough to allow the control box to pass through...
When putting control box through the loop do it so that the whole affair is wrapped round the stem..
Hope that makes sense .. I'll try it tomorrow and post the pics ,,, if it works that is!! :) :)
