1ST silver with Deus

After agravating an old back injury
i thought i would have to give up metal detecting ....but i took a 6 weeks off and swapped over to the darkside as a last resort to keep detecting
so i have managed 2 trips with the deus totalling 6hrs ( 2 x 3 hrs) and not too much back pain so i'm a happy bunny
been just using the stock programes ...deus fast and GM power while i figure this machine out today i found this william III sixpence about 3" down on wheat stubble so well pleased

bob still think the etrac is a better machine ....the tones and the screen are more reliable and i usually had a good idea what i would be digging up and rarely dug iron unless on a roman site ...the deus seems all over the place with deep stuff ...numbers didnt mean anything and i have never dug soo much iron... and with my hearing i think going on tones only is going to be hard work for me ...but its a last chance to keep detecting so will persevere for a while
but i am struggling with all the noise from everyones machines when im in 18khz
and i like to work in a social team on club digs so will have too become billy no mates and also having to take headphones off when using garrat probe
yeah about 10 silver coins came out and few roman grots

yes been following your posts to see what your thoughts are on crossing over ....wish i hadnt had to sell etrac ...but at least i can concentrate on 1 machine
