beach finds

Post by king of the swingers »

Well i went to brid beach and had a few short sessions a couple of hours at a time with sovereign gt . This was my first time on beach with it and i found it to be very stable no false signals. I found a lot of modern coins , 1 euro 10 cent, lots of ringpulls, light bulb fittings a few parts of plugs (how do they get there!!) and the more interesting or heart stopping as i thought gold or silver for a brief second 3 rings and a hard of hearing id tag.
The jury is still out i think my heart is on the fields but i havent given up on beach just yet.
Thanks for looking

I love those heart stopping moments, often followed bitter disappointment in my case..... ::g
All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy!

Yes pal... i usually always use it in disc mode/iron mask on, zero notch and discm, threshold just audible and sensitivity around 11 o clock.

Tried it yesterday for the first time in all metal/pinpoint mode with maximum sensitivity on the wet sand. Found a fair few rusty nails as expect but found a few deep coins, old watch and a large pat butcher style ear ring... :))
I do prefer disc mode but be will be experimenting more in pp mode if conditions allow... ::g
