is this a gold plated ring?

Post by housed »

Hihi

Popped down to the beach today for the first time in ages and found this laying on the top of the sand. It looks gold but no hallmark as the inside is oxidised which makes me wonder if it's just gold plated or something. Any help appreciated.

Looks too good for standard gold plate, much too thick. My guess would be 9ct on silver ::g When you clean it (could try spit and foil) it will probably be marked on the inside of the band ::g
