XP Deus at TheMuseum - November 2014 Deals

Post by Kristian1974 »

I just noticed that if you just type in the website address of the Museum and just click the link to their catalogue of detectors, you get quoted the normal full price, but if you search for "XP Deus The Museum", you get sent to a page that has discounted prices of about 20% off. (e.g.. Top Spec with 11 inch coil, WS5 headphones and remote for £1,139)

Very strange.

The direct link to the full range of discounted models is >> http://www.themuseum.co.uk/page-GB.asp?id=94" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For those that would prefer to use Crawfords etc, might be worth seeing if they will price match?

Hope this helps people to save a couple of hundred pounds in the run up to Xmas <:-P

So, you can say:
"darling I just saved £200 on a detector" l;.
rather than
"darling I just spent £1,350 on a detector" b;>

Looks a good deal Kristian, thanks for sharing. I would like one next year but need to do a little more work on the missus first. ;)
I've just had a new IPad Air2 so need to bide my time, there's only so many new pairs of boots that even she wants. :))

No problem Tony - good luck with the "begging"!

They have similar deals on Garretts, Vikings and C-Scopes if anyone is looking around for something cheaper than the XP Deus.

That's interesting information and perhaps explains why Regton are only able to offer a 10% price-match discount and require you to collect the detector in person. Perhaps they have a distribution deal with TheMuseum that prevents them from price matching to online customers (or something like that)? Just guessing, but everyone loves a conspiracy theory ;)

Edit: my theory is incorrect and it seems that Regton and Crawfords will fully price match TheMuseum. I suspect you will get much better customer service and future support if you buy from Regtons or Crawfords. (See Nigel's response below)

Hi All, yes Crawford`s are one of the MDF Sponsors so if you could check to see if they will price match that would be greatly appreciated, pretty much most of the time they will ::g B-)

Direct link to their website - Crawfords
