xp deus interference when using the makro pointer

hi
has anyone else had issues with the makro pointer interfering with the headphones on the xp deus
went out yesterday and all i had every time i switched the makro on was a beeping in the headphones which stopped when i turned the pointer off
didnt have any issues when i used the garrett pro pointer

I see the P/P is 11.6 KHz so you may have to use 'frequency shift' on the 12 KHz program to move it away a touch?

Hello, one thing to try is change the frequency slightly on the Deus
You could also try just lowering the sensitivity on the Makro Point down by just one setting.
If you have it set on high setting 4 this is similar to having a metal detectors sensitivity set to high, it can sometimes become unstable to surrounding interference.
