What's the GMP mode like?

Post by Fris »

Been using the Deus for a couple of months now...I'm happy using Basic 1 (with full tones turned on) most of the time, occasionally switching to Fast (also with full tones) if I need the faster responses.

Now...I know some people like GMP mode. It looks similar to Fast mode in that table of settings. What's noticeably different? Does it have a different "feel" to Fast mode?

thanks :)

As i use GMP 99% of the time, I have little experience with the other programs... For me GMP do everything.... I use 4 tone.. Disc 3.0 Sens 94 -95.

Definitely the tones sound different to fast and I usually find it chattier .. I'm not a huge fan but my permissions are iron infested

If you're used to full tones which in my opinion is the best way to use the deus then try Gary's hot programme (0 discrim) .. If you're sick of all the tones after a few hours and want a bit of peace try Gary's hot5 programme (5 discrim)

Thanks guys ::g Maybe I should just give GMP a try today, even though it's a bit annoying to keep changing around.

Yeah Jamie, I started using full tones pretty much straight away. It really did my head in for a while but I've kinda "tuned in" to it now, and can usually just keep the remote in my pocket.
