Just by using a length of coax does basically the same thing as buying one of these antenna kits,either use cable ties or velcro up the stem and keep one end near the transmission point of the coil you should have no problems.

Most folks take the top part of the cable and locate it right nect to the controller to complete the the radio link,not 100% sure about using it with the lite version but i cannot see a problem with it,but please note that i am not 100% sure about that.The main thing is keeping the coax as close to the bottom of the weakest link which is the coil as that is the part that is of course under water.

Most guys have a piece of coax cable hanging around in his man cave on a shelf doing nothing,thats the best time to try it out =))

I did this a couple of years ago and made up my own aerial.

These days I usually only use water to drink and wash at may tender age.

It did work and the pictured submerged coin came from a stream bed crossing where it has been lying for many years.

I used soft flexible wire.

Hope this helps you. ;) Jerry.

Just use a plastic cable tie for the session in the position shown.

Works just fine. ::g Jerry.

I used shrink wrap to keep the ends it tidy.

No you do not get interference.

Make one up and put a coin in a plastic bucket to prove the point.

What a great hobby we have that takes our minds off other things. ;) ::g Jerry.
