Bungee harness

Post by Muddydigger »

Thinking about a bungee harness for when I use the 17 on the beach , looking for recommendations from people who have used one on a ctx , as that's the only machine I'll be using it on

The easy swing is a great option.
Saw a guy at Scarborough using one on a CTX with the 17" coil.
Seemed to be doing ok.

I use the easy swing with the ctx and no complaints. ...If you head over to the forum channel on you tube there's a review by mrix of the harness on the ctx... ::g

Hi mate the easy swing harness is one of the best things I've bought for detecting it takes most of the weight out of detecting if you are swinging for long hours and the other benifits is you don't have to put your detector down on the mud or sand as it dangles at the side of you , buy one now you will wonder how you detected without one for so long ::g

Although i do own a 'detecting buddy' harness my favourite ones are the GPX and the PRO-TECTORS ones,if i was to choose between them then it would have to be the PRO-TECTORS full harness, especially when you hang a heavy old Pulse machine on it with a large coil,i find that i can swing a big rig all day long.
Equinox 6'',11'' and 15'' coils.
Deus 2 9'' coil.
Minelab GPX 14'' and 18'' Coiltek coils.
Fisher TW-5 twin box.
Nexus MP 13'' coil.
Nexus SE dual 9'' coil.
Whites TDI Pro 20'' coil.

We personally use the Minelab pro harness.
Superb bit of kit. can detect as long as we like with no pains or aches at all.
They are expensive but the quality is great and hopefully will last a life time.
Highly recommended, bought ours secondhand for around the £80 mark.

you can make your own harness with a cheap strimmer harness off flea bay, some padding and a bungee with clips from £ land.
lots of MD related stuff ;))

Thanks everyone for your views and suggestions , I'm leaning towards the mine lab version to be honest and will be trying one out from a friend tomorrow , but will also look at the easy swing before I decide , thanks again ::g
