Look at the big budget phones or the CP1s. :)
Hi Chipper thanks for the link.
I have already bought some off of ebay. I do hope I haven't made a mistake, they look good so fingers crossed.
One things for sure at least they will stay on my head, they have a flexi cable and have stereo and mono settings with the individual adjustments for the ears. I suppose though it will be the quality of sound that will decide if they are any good or not.
Can't wait until the weekend to try them out. :)

This is the only forum you`ll hear anyone talking about not wearing headphones! Its a well known fact you have wear headphones to get the best results.

If, like l do, you wear the little XP backphones..http://www.metaldetectorshop.co.uk/shop ... p_327.html

they`re extremely sharp and clear on most machines, and you can still hear whats going on around you without losing the faint deep signals..also small enough to slip a woolly hat over your ears to keep warm this time of year :)
Hi thanks I have saved the link, they are very reasonable as well so will have a proper look tomorrow and buy them as spares. Thanks for all your help guys :)

but on windy day you cant hear much
plus they keep your ears warm this time of year
run them at a very low volume
and i can still hear the birds sing when they are on
