Best deus lite programme

Post by gsxrjames47 »

Hi looking for some advice on the best program to use for ploughed and rolled in the deus lite, still pretty new to the deus and only really ran it on the basic 1 programme.

Your suggestions would be appreciated ::g

I like a bit of full tone action so would select Deus fast drop the descrim to zero and select full tones. Will sound totaly different to basic one but you wont miss much.

Hi there, I've had my Deus for a year now and have done a fair bit of experimenting but only after learning what does what.
Personally I'd use 18khz, as I believe it's supposed to be best on fluffy soil.
select program 2 (GM POWER) and change to 2 tones (if you can on the lite).
Change discrimination to 6
This is Gary's COLD program but frequency changed to 18khz.
You can leave it on 12khz if you like but I'd use 18.
If there's a lot of iron about then I'd bump the reactivity up to 3.
Also I wouldn't have the sensitivity higher than it needs to be, 85-90 seems right on my sites.
I started using Gary's COLD when I first got my Deus and it's really good- simple and effective.
I was then using full tones almost exclusively but have gone back to two tones as I think it signals the lower conductors more easily. This is just my experiences with it, hope this helps,
cheers Ollie ::g

I basically use the Cold settings but run it in 2 tone and 3 disc, this works exactly fine and dandy for my permissions, also have the same settings in spare slots @8Khz and 4Khz,and if i want to gain just a little extra depth then i just knock it down to a lower one, mainly 8Khz.

Although i do have the full Deus Monty i mainly use it as a pick up and detect setup, main rig that i use is the T2 with the larger Storm coil on it,basically these 2 units cover 95% of my detecting needs.
Equinox 6'',11'' and 15'' coils.
Deus 2 9'' coil.
Minelab GPX 14'' and 18'' Coiltek coils.
Fisher TW-5 twin box.
Nexus MP 13'' coil.
Nexus SE dual 9'' coil.
Whites TDI Pro 20'' coil.
