I use the Garrett AT and seems to be fine with the 9" coil but if it interferes with the 13" coil I just change the program by one "click" and reset when I'm done.

go to menu - scroll down to frequency - click on expert - click + or - which shifts the frequency

This is indeed the trick that fixes it. ::g

Beware the makro pro pointer really interferes when you've got your deus at 11 kHz. If you adjust the deus frequency if does help but it's a bit of a faff. Also I don't like turning on and off the makro- it's much easier on the Garrett, just a shame they false all the bloody time!
Forging ahead with my trustee Deus! :;@

If you can wait for a bit, xp are bringing one out this year. The sound will come through the deus phones
all the gear, no idea!

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to my request with your experiences and excellent recommendations.

After much deliberation I finally opted for the Deteknix X-Pointer Puchased from https://www.metaldetectingauction.com/l ... our/103055" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I

It will get it's first outing tomorrow (as long as it is not torrential rain).
I can confirm no interference between detector and pointer in all frequencies.

I just move the Deus an arms length away from the probe when looking for the target. I accept the interference and moving the detector away reduces the interference.
