London {Fulham} buddy

Post by noobey »

Hi all, I joined a while back but never had any luck finding a buddy.
I am now living in Fulham and have no vehicle for another two and a half years B| .
Yes, banned rl; .
I have had my Ace 250 for about 4 years and have never really used it!
I am keen to try again and meet somebody who wants some company..

Hi Martin,

Noticed your post from Fulham here, and the fact me and Joe are down the road from you in Chelsea SW3.

Joe's just got back into metal detecting, and I'm taking it up for the first time. Joe has suggested meeting up for a cuppa tea at a cafe in the Broadway if you're free this week?

We have a van, and are planning on going to the coast to test out some new equipment soon, and joining some local groups.

Cheers,

Chris & Joe

I'm in Wandsworth right now which is just down the road. I also don't have a car, so won't be much use on the transport front.
Mostly interested in detecting on the coast and beaches as I have a PI machine but am willing to go anywhere for a bit of fresh air!

Hi all,

I live in London (north) and wouldn't mind meeting a few people for detecting. I don't have a car, but will happily pay for fuel.

Unfortunately, what I THOUGHT was a Fisher F2 turned out to be a Chinese knock-off, but it most definitely does work! I've found about a kilo of nails in my garden and two pence!

Hi all,

Beckton E6 here. Car available, boot not too big but always available.
Working from home at the moment, but weekends are ok.
Chasing low tides in Southend :-)
Looking for good ideas and "farmers' friends" :-) as my sold the pasture...

Funky - what about my spare F2? Not Chinese sh*t ;)

Would be good to use both side by side on the same find and see if there's actually any difference.
