just got an xterra 705

just got an xterra 705

hi every one

ive just got a new 705 & will be using it on the beach, but im abit confused about setting it to

beach mode, from what ive read i think i need to turn machine on, select all metal mode, then press

ground balance once, then hold for 3 seconds until umbrella symbol appears, then adjust sens to about 22 to 25 , is that about right am i doing anything wrong any help would be appreciated.

I had a 705 and they are a great machine, have a look at this might help you out. ::g

thanks mark already got that video book marked :D its where i got those settings i posted above from, if the weather is good im going head out tomorrow & give it a go & see how i get on

Great machine, does find the good stuff on beaches, dont be frightened to turn the sensitivity down on the beach, and take your time, good signals do stand out. Its a much better machine inland though. Good luck.

well thought id best add abit more to this post, i used the above settings & lowered the sens down abit more, i was on the beach for about 2 hours yesterday afternoon & found afew bits of junk &
£7.42 so i was quite happy with that for a first outing, so far im liking my new machine & hope to get back out when all this wind & rain has passed .
