new buddy

Hi,just bought a metal detector,have,nt used it yet,looking for someone in the Wednesbury,West bromwich,Walsall or surrounding area of the West Midlands to help me get started,and give me the benefit of their experience.

Hiya mate and welcome to the forums....
Finding a buddy is quite a difficult thing to achieve....Not only do they have to live quite close to you but they also have to have land that the farmer is happy to allow more than 1 person on....This is a rare thing these days....
Look for a club nearby and see if you can join, that way you will get to meet likeminded people and be able to go on club digs.....
