XP Deus remote control problem

Hi.
The screen on my remote control has some back lines/patches appearing randomly. It is not too bad at the moment but has anyone else experienced this?

I only bought my XP Deus in April this year from new.

Mine has the same ghosting , it appeared a year or so ago but hasn't affected how it works at all , ::g

Do these also appear, if you reduce the contrast?
If yes, it may be a warranty issue unless you tried to park your car on it. ;)

The smudging and lines seem to have gone away now...could be an intermittent fault.

I will play with the contrast if it comes back..thanks.

Cold weather can sometimes affect LCD screens.
