Xp Deus Programme 5 Goldmax

I love the Deus and use it at least twice a week so am quite familiar with how and why the stock programmes are set up the way they are. What puzzles me is why p5 which is Gmaxx and meant to be the deepest has a silencer value of 3, I was led to believe the lower the silencer the deeper it would penetrate same as a lower reactivity does. Can someone explain please

I understand what you are saying about the silencer setting but all I can say is it will go deep on true pasture. On arable for some reason it does not work so well for me and in these conditions coin size finds are 5 inches max. I am certain once the ground has been turned, even if it was years ago it is a different prospect to search.
