Looking for a buddy in Lincoln area

Hi All

My name is Midge and I am a 61 year old Army veteran. I have recently acquired (On loan) a Garrett AT Pro (International). I am very much a novice so I would be grateful if any detectorists local to me wouldn't mind allowing me to tag along with them? I suffer from PTSD and hope that the hobby will get me out and about in the fresh air and allow me to interact with people with similar interests? There is an article in the January issue of Treasure Hunting which highlights this kind of initiative. I am unemployed so am available any day.

Do you have land to go on in Lincoln? if not I have lots of land down near Skegness if you drive and would be happy co come out detecting with you for the day.
