Did a test using pure gold on a deus

A colleague found a hoard of silver coins from 12 century hit by plough.
If they were near surface, they would give a TID around 37. A bit deeper a scratchy 70something. And in the range limit a weak 98, which you would never dig on a normal field to keep your mental health.

A medieval gold coin made from pure gold found on a different place had a TID of 77, just like a 2 Euro coin.

A gold Hammy is unlikely to give a differing signal so it's your call to dig or not as the tones are mid range

top man ... I think maintaining a healthy positive mental attitude is very important ... so if that means not being continuously disappointed by avoiding the trashy signals, so be it. But fair dues to those who are happy to dig the trashy tones as one day their reward will no doubt come.
