I'm hoping that the number of views this post receives will get Gary motivated to write his own book on the Deus. I'm sure many in the hobby and on this forum have viewed Gary's videos and used his programs so my question is this: why hasn't he written a book on the Deus? Imagine his programs all contained in the book, accompanied by explanations on what each program is capable of etc. I'm sure I would fork out £15 for such a reference book.
Thanks for your kind words, I don't think my writing skills are book level.
The guys over at XP keep me pretty busy, it's hard enough finding time to detect these days.
Sure a book will be a good way of making a few quid, video's are more convenient as they can be accessed free of charge anytime using a smartphone or tablet.
And of coarse you can hear how the machine sounds.
I'd buy it. I've been using Gary's videos and advice for a couple of years. I have the utmost respect and would like to read his book.

I prefer the videos where you can hear the tones and identify what is being spoken about, its a Tone machine and once I grasped that and stopped fiddling with the controler I really got to grips with it. The Sabisch book covers it all and it was helpful, but its not something I ever refer back to after getting all excited about it as I got it at the same time as the detector. Garys videos are free and seem to be much easier to take in than words in a book, for me anyway. That said if he wrote a book now, it would be covering everything and going over what we have already learned from his videos as its quite a few years since the machine came out. Garys current crop of videos are great refinements and instil confidence, I know that if its there I will find it, and that I'm just in the wrong area 99.9% of the time.
