I am thinking of switching from my etrac to the deus, due to a persistent shoulder injury.
With the remote version of the deus, is there an option to plug in a set of wired headphones or do they have to be a pair of wireless xp ones?

Yes you can plug a set of wired headphones into the control box but its the smaller jack plug rather than the larger standard jack plug, what is remarkable value for money and also amazing sound quality is the XP wired headphones and they also come with both jack plug size adaptors, price wise i think they are about the £15 price bracket.
I always carry a set of these as a backup but also use them on all my machines as well during the summer as they are nice and light.

Hi Devonlad, as you are going light you need to get the WS4 phones and an adaptor which cost about
£12, you can then plug phones into the removable controller from the phones, most people who opt for this put the small controller in an inside pocket, it then almost feels wireless.

Sorry just re-read the post, yes straight in to the controller.

Hi bob,
Yes was thinking that myself, I like the portability of the control box which can be placed in a wrist band designed for the XP..

Xp back phones are the bargain of the century, have not found a detector they don't work on.
