I have been through 14 of the standard Deus charging clips and have found them to be perfectly reliable, no probs at all ..... :D
Just being silly! My charger has connected perfectly at first attempt for the past 20 times, so cannot moan anymore, XP are well aware of the concerns and so I expect they will come up with something innovative. Liam :;@

Nice to see that the manufacturer has made a fault better !... Are we covered if we need a replacement. Or will there be a recall of charging clips .?
Hi TF, not sure if the original design can be classed as a fault, not the best solution maybe, many people have never had an issue with the older style pins on their connectors but obviously being so delicate it was always possible to damage them especially if you did not fit the connector completely square to the coil etc.
Nice to see this system has now been improved on with the thicker pins ::g B-)

why pay over £30 when the one in the MDF AUCTION is only £14.50 inc. postage and made in uk.

Direct link here XP Deus Charging Clip

IMPORTANT Note - Only suitable for the new type 9 inch AND 11 inch coils, just push on and plug in mains cable, the same size as the standard clip. ONLY FITS COIL WITH DEUS IN SILVER IN MIDDLE OF COIL SEE PICTURE 3.

That is a good point patches, but as far as i am aware, when i started this thread, they were not for sale in the mdf auction or on ebay, and the you tube video where i saw this clip was the only place i could find this style of charger.
I hope this clears this up for you, as i was only trying to highlight something that xp could improve

I would buy the new charger component in a jiffy but for some strange reason my old 9ins coil charger is connecting perfectly now, used to have a problem :-/ My first charging clip failed when a pin snapped. I must have done something to improve the connection other than cleaning, its as if it has decided to behave itself!
Those new thicker pins seem to be the answer though.
