Northampton/MK buddy or group needed

Post by jonshouse »

First time detectorist with new detector but no experience (beyond a couple of buried car parts in the garden) or permissions yet. Looking for a group or buddy, ideally near the Mk/Northampton route for occasional weekend digs.

thanks,
Jon

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I tried out the Naseby dig today. I could still really do with finding a buddy as well, because if i didn't already know that i needed advice, i do now! Thanks also the helpful fella who lent me his pinpointer today when mine went mental.
Cheers,Jon

Hi There,

I'm also new to the hobby, I've only really tried out my Garrett 250 in my back yard and on the beach in Torquay. My first find was a 1971 half penny in my back garden which I was very happy about : )

I'm based in Lavendon, MK. Have you found a buddy or group yet?

Thanks
Matt
