I got a pair last year and the jackplug lead broke at the head connection within a few weeks. I bought a new plug from Maplins and got an electrician to connect it up and it does work but not as well. On top of that, I could not get it to work with the 705 and then discovered that little switch inside the cup ....
I now use the WS1's and so cannot compare headphones. The Predator was chosen by me as it was supposed to be very tough and rugged! I only use them for the 705 as the Predators are apparently NOT suitable for XP machines. Liam B-)

Hi , Had a set of predators lasted three years ,then started to crackle now and again . Good earphones and lots of use .To be honest got some detecnicks earphones (i think converted from from drumming phones) seem as good signal wise. Dont know if they will last as long but are about half the price . johnduke
