Buddy wanted, Calne in Wiltshire

Hi, first time on a forum so am quite lost at the moment. I have permission from a couple of cattle farms locally. Not checked them out or anything as not sure how to yet. Pretty new to this at the moment. My detectorist friend is not as interested as I am but I don't fancy going solo yet.

new to forum myself, but been detecting many years, tho i have no land to search at the moment
except for the beachs..if your still looking for detecting buddy for the land u have in wiltshire, on the cattle farms..

Hi all I'm pretty new to this metal detecting game, but I'm hooked already!
I'm looking for a metal detecting buddy in or near Calne, Wiltshire.

I've got a few finds including a GOLD RING on my second outing :)

Yup... gold on the second outting is lucky indeed. A fellow in our local detecting club found a gold coin second time out... then some people detect for fourty years and never find gold!
