I'm in Garthorpe near Scunny and have a few permissions so you can come round my end. I work shifts so I would need a day or threes notice

Hi

For many years I have been in possession of a book listing the mainly Roman archaeological sites excavated by a particular group of archaeologists in the 1950s and 60s, in and around North Yorkshire. I’ve got diagrams and maps including map references. What I don’t have of course are any permissions to detect. Living in Cheshire, it’s a long way to go to start knocking on respective farm doors. So, is there anyone out there would knows the area, from a metal detecting perspective, who wouldn’t mind teaming up with someone from the other side of the pennines who has a few Roman North Yorkshire sites lined up to be investigated.

Regards
