OK, names pete, im the wrong end of the 40's. Work in a wind tunnel testing architectural models. Have an unhealthy interest in military vehicles, modelling and radio control boats. Have car will travel. Living in Luton I know there are many local historic sites that are not that well known. Have found in my garden whilst digging a fencepost a 14C lead seal used by couriers. (told by the local Archeologist Its now listed in the database ford bedfordshire finds)
Am interested in local history much of it urban legends and ghost stories.
will to help out with others on digs to see how its done.
will hopefully get my own MD soon just doing the research on whats best for my budget.
Have been on a few archeological digs. one in Flanders a few years back. more recently in London and herts.

I think the "Bedfordshire Historical Search Society" is still up and running. Lots of their members in the old days came from Luton.
