Fading display
I just bought a ace 300i back in May and the other week I noticed that the display and numbers were fading but they seemed to come back to normal iv just been out with it today and it's happened again worse than last time iv been in touch with the shop I bought it from and iv got to send the control box off to be replaced or repaired but I was just wondering is this a common fault with the 300i

Have had a 400i since September, would imagine the control box is very similar to 300i, not come across this problem so far.
Out of curiosity, how long do you get from your batteries before you lose the first segment off maximum. Getting 20hrs on max, using Duracell Ultra.
Hope they sort it out for you soon, at least it`s under warranty.
Cheers

You probably have this problem sorted by now.
I had the same problem with mine all it was is a bit of metal in the control box its not connecting to the screen properly, all you have to do is take the box and were the batteries go in it pushes a small peace of metal on to a tiny bit of metal near the screen to make the connection try cleaning it or bending it slightly. hope this helps.
