New and seeking permission/club in Grantham/Lincolnshire

Hello all,

Firstly, thank you for adding me to this site.

I'm new to this hobby, and I was wondering if there is a metal detecting club that is based in Grantham or the local Lincolnshire region? I have looked at the Clubs list but can not see one that is near by.

If anyone has any information that can lead me to the right person it would be highly appreciated.

Also, I have asked a few farmers and land owners but unfortunately it has come back as a no. I will keep trying and asking away, hopefully I will find somewhere soon.

I am based in Grantham, I did apply for a membership within a Grantham metal detecting club but I didn't get a response. My uncle knows them, he used to detect with them told me to apply. I should of enquired a bit more into that to be honest. Shame they are full though.

I will try and get into contact with them again and politely ask to be placed on the reserves queue.
