Hiring a metal detector for saltwater

Post by broadsword78 »

Hi, I'm a looking to hire a metal detector in Brighton on Saturday, i've tried a couple of firms that hire them out but they don't have any that are compatible with salt water. Basically i am trying to look for a ring that maybe under 9 inches of saltwater. Does anyone know of where i can hire a suitable metal detector. I've tried A-Plant and Detecnicks
many thanks

Hi Tony,
have you tried getting in contact with a local club to see if they can help? I believe Brighton & District Metal Detecting Club are active. maybe someone on here can point you in the right direction?

Try the National Search Service on this website, you may be better off just asking for someone local to brighton from this friendly site to you to help you out, if your item is under 9 inches of salt water make sure you take a reference of the area you think its in, then hopefully someone with a waterproof detector local to you can make arrangement to help. Good luck
