Hardwired headphones?

Can the CTX3030 be hardwired for those who do a lot of water detecting? I don't mind using wired headphones vs wireless headphones so I think I would prefer hardwired and eliminate most of the issues with water intrusion.

You certainly can hard wire headphones to the ctx, I use Mals Surffones.

You have to take off the 1/4" adapter and behind that you can hardwire the headphones to the machine, without that the machine isn't waterproof without the plug (which is situated in the 1/4" adapter)
