Thank you Mud Max. That is exactly what we were aiming for when making the series. So many people think of battles on distant shores......very few actually think of the men who were based in the UK, risking their lives for our freedom.

It's done for televisual effect though, (the trip to Germany), as I knew exactly what they meant! Great to be able to get a real expert on screen though. :)

I just watched the last one I had recorded and hadnt seen today thanks to the snow Steve, the Suffolk B17s, enjoyed it mate ::g
I showed the phots of my B17 bits to the lads on the Sally B at Duxford a year or two ago, they were most interested ::g
