You spent your time well anyway Tomo. I also like the 'Put and Take' spinner - A good show of finds!
Regards ss47 A disservice is no service at all.
Very good haul again and the state of the new coins is terrible.
Like the Take , Put, spinner got a brass one that belonged to my Grandad and used to play the game with me. Good Luck for today ![]() Dave. Bounty Hunter Tracker IV

A great collection for couple of hours.
Like everyone else I'm taken with the Put Take spinner, never even heard of this before, but google is our friend. http://www.antiquegamblingchips.com/Put ... tPicts.htm ATB Paul No gear and no idea...
An analogue man in a digital world Ah, Put and Take. I used to play that on holiday with mum and dad 50+ years ago using 1d coins as counters. The game mysteriously used to finish whenever I spun a Take All. At 1/4d each, or more accurately 4 for a penny as farthings had gone by then, you could buy an awful lot of Black Jack or Juicy Fruit chews for a handful of coppers.
Here’s a brand new 'antique' spinner I bought at a flea-fair a couple of years ago. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
