Makro noises!!??

Post by vulpinehunter »

Well I am new to this game after break of ten years or so.
I was out at the beach (in beach mode) not had fiddle with all the settings yet.

It found very small copper disc no markings on it at all,but keeps finding ally bits they look like beer cans thrown onto BBQ they were everywhere!
The noise they made was like low buzz then bleep then low buzz as I passed over them, hard to describe noise. I found fishing weight and that hit the bleep and sounded higher then the ally.

Started off for home and came to a grass bank (still in beach mode) and it was quite for a while then I hit a target and the machine went mad not a bleep but very very rapid "pips" all most like a bird calling .
I was late and did not dig for it I also was not sure who owned the land the pips came from.

Any ideas?

the rapid beeps could have been the overload signal, which means the target was to close to the coil hence causeing and overload. try putting a coin so its touching the coil see if its the same noise

neil.

As TheMole says, the chirping sound is just the overload signal - another big aluminium can top or a big piece of iron close to the surface.... if it blows your ears off, it's junk. - usually....
