My Saxon pendant (see avatar) was provisionally valued at £385 but that was upped to £500 by the TVC, which was OK by me. ::g

Of course I would have preferred to keep it but ........ :D

I would get an independent valuation and if it's more than £1000 I would appeal. I think The Searcher magazine does valuations why not send them a pic?

They won`t value "live" Treasure cases. Conflict of interest, the editor is the TVC Finders Representative. ::g
