DUDLEY looking to tag along on detecting adventure

HI my name is Jamie i live in Dudley an i have been detecting most my life.
i have an X terra 705 with a nel tornado coil, im looking to find a friend or friends to share my love for the hobby with i have always detected alone, but im 38 now an a good intelligent conversation and someone to mutually appreciate the finds with would enhance my day i am sure. i am a local history lover and i write about it, i am writing a local history book currently.
im ex army , i served in the grenadier guards and in the household cavalry as a farrier, i enjoy researching as much as detecting . so if anyone would be kind enough to let me tag along id be great-full im sure we would get along i love a laugh as well as serious detecting and id pay my way as far as petrol goes i aint no free loader lol , hope to chat soon jamie

I assume you’re looking for a buddy in your area, have you thought of contacting one of the clubs. There are several around the Midlands. There’s a list of clubs in the menu. Only one listed for the Midlands but unfortunately the link doesn’t work.
I know one or two if you’re interested.
