Nice Machine
Nice Machine
OK, I've had my new Deus light for two and a half weeks and been out digging through the concrete like earth most days. What a machine! I have trays full of new finds from permissions that I thought I'd already exhausted including my first complete working crotal bell. Don't know if it's the unusually dry conditions, but the depth is astonishing and the detector feels bombproof. Oh, and it's like swinging a feather around, great for an old feller. Just need a bit of rain to make things easier. Happy boy.

What does gold have to do with it? I was just asking to see what success you'd had with the Deus....pengles wrote: Sat Jul 21, 2018 5:50 pm Phil2401. Not yet, give it a few more weeks until I get some gold into them. Ha!

Hi Pengles, Glad you are enjoying the Deus. What program have you been using? I doubt that the dry conditions add to depth at all, but wait until winter. We would all be interested to see pics of the targets your other machine likely missed good and bad just out of interest.

Easylife and Phil2401 . Of course. Only had it a couple of weeks since using my starter Ace 250 for a year. Been using P2, the GMP programme until I get more used to the machine. It just seems like a metal hoover compared to the Garrett. When I get time I'll post some more pictures. Phil2401, the comment about finding a piece of gold, don't take too literally. As have most of us on here, spent many, many hours wandering around fields in good and rubbish weather. Having bust a gut and dripping sweat digging in rock hard rocky ground it will always be nice to find something green, silver or gold at the bottom of it.
