Ultimate Program

Post by Donki_Oaty »

Hello

Being a bloke I tend not to read instructions too much, I do however watch tutorials on YouTube and found Garys skill school.
Has anyone tried Garys Ultimate Program? If so does it do the job?
I've just programmed it in to be used tomorrow morning.

Cheers in advance ::g

Nothing I've used has done the job for me no... 18 detector and maybe nearly no 19 (fred) Lot of people use gmp ....I've played around with -6.4 disc etc etc hf coil ,13 " coil without a lot of luck on rallies and mates permissions. If it's there and u walk over it and it's about 6" deep u should get it with what ever...good luck playing ::g

Ultimate is the program i use most, but as said its got to be there in the first place

When I get a good signal I tend to toggle between programs, custom and standard to see if signal improves, it didn't in most cases, so I stick with Ultimate, it will find small stuff but as for the best program..........................its all down to personal preference

Occasionally run with the XY screen on another program for a bit of variety but tend to go back to Ultimate

I may have to rethink the prog if I get an HF coil

Regards Steve

My machine's rarely running on anything else. In standard settings it goes deep, it's reasonably fast, and the only time I tinker with it is if going over an area for the umpteenth time and I want a bit more depth. Then I reduce reactivity to 2, drop down to 12khtz and swing slowly.

If I get an iffy signal I'll check it with another preset, usually "deep".

Ultimate is the only program I use. I'm old school and can't stand all the noises from different tones.
I like to have low-conductors to have the same high tone.

Reactivity 2, slow sweeping, HF round coil at 28 Khz. Sensitivity as high as possible. disc 0, xy screen. When there is tons of iron than reactivity 2,5.

I'm very happy overall but especially with the lightness of the Deus.
