nice morning out

Post by HairySporran »

Went out for a couple of hours this morning to the local beach. Besides the usual rusty iron and ali only one coin. It's a 3 heller from the Republika Cescoslovenska dated 1954.

The tide is slowly revealing beach structures used during WW2. Besides hard pans for landing craft (part of Operation Fortitude) the beach is unfortunately blessed with iron rebar and anti invasion scaffolding.
