A good scour!
Oh yes, that wind did blow yesterday. Went out very early today not light for an hour or more but could see what had been done. Much of the build up at the wall base pulled out and dumped about 10 yards out. I do like the equinox & small coil for this work its more than sensitive enough in these conditions (a vast amount of iron). There are just over 100 coins, 8 silver and a few badges. All scrap but good fun which does teach you a lot about detectors & detecting.

An immense haul !!
Over 100 coins without it being a hoard, plus extras.
Well dug

Deirdre ripped it up good where I was today too, 2ft of sand had been stripped leaving nice easy pickings for the CTX. Over 100 coins totaling £35-40 I would guess, two 9ct rings, silver bracelet and other bits for mainly the scrap bucket. 5.5 hours well spent

Well done. You can tell it's been down a long while when the gold get corrosion like that on it. Blew the beaches flat down here.
