Help needed installing V4.1

Hi, I would like to update from V4.0 to 4.1. I don't want to go to V5, but every time I try to go to 4.1 my system has a meltdown.

I did find 4.1 on the XP site but now can only see V5 update, then, when I try and install, my laptop says "...….cannot be installed.Please close and restart and try again". This I have done 4 times but I still get the same message.

Could anyone tell me A. How to get the 4.1 update, not V5 and, B, what I might be doing wrong to get the error message all the time. Many thanks.

PS Never really been happy with V4.0 There seems to be a lot of chatter and general noise so its 4.1 for me if possible.

Got it. Turn off all virus protection, uninstall previous downloaded updates from pc and start from scratch. Done.

Check your cable if you are struggling with the updates, it could be faulty. Also Gary has done an update video you might find useful
