Thanks MPower.

The link was fantastic.

Met Fred today and he instantly knew what it was when I showed it to him. Fred helped me massively with my Nox settings. Thanks Fred. ::g

Shame mine does not look anything like the nice one in the photo, but it does give me confidence to detect the land a bit more. Only did about 10% of it. Still well happy though.

I also found a 1985 pound coin, old farm (stainless steel stuff) third of a horseshoe, some buttons that are waiting to go through the cleaning process, 2 what look like musket balls ? 1961 half penny.

Lots of other unidentifiable stuff while my new ultrasonic is being delivered.

Very best.

Hi MPower,

I would post pictures, but I don’t want to seem like I am spamming the forums.

I haven’t found much of interest compared to the Roman coins posters,

Just junk on the field/beach. If users happy and ok with that, I will post pictures and location found by all means.

Thanks.

Hi to ALL in Kent,

Spent a few hours on a beach on Saturday.

From top left to right 1p, 2p, 5p,10p,20p,50p,old Β£1.

Bottom left Shrapnel found out deep while tide was out.

Bottom right pre-decimal coins + old Decimal 5p.

The Button beneath the padlock interests me... Better picture to follow.

But good to search right now.. Good Luck before the waters drag it all to never never land.

Hey, just an update on my progress

Friday went looking for 303's

Also found a three ring ? maybe two ?..

I Don't know what the round things are at the bottom ? Not metal, but left is stone, middle is very heavy at 350g. Not natural to be so rounded....?

I also found this badge.

Sat spent me at usual coast..

Today due to weather I started to try and clean some coins. Various results.

Sorry if its not Roman MDF folk, but its all we have on the coast :E

Well done. I got back yesterday. I had a brief shufti at a local beach today in a gap between showers. Absolutely hopeless. :D
