If yes, could you suggest me the advantages and the settings?
Thanks
Does any of you play with the iron volume?
I think I was using a setting of 3 as you only need to know that it's there without being blasted out by it.

I think this is the default in hot program and maybe in many other programs. I was wondering if it's useful to lower it to 2 or 1 in iron infested sites.Easylife wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2019 10:39 pm I think I was using a setting of 3 as you only need to know that it's there without being blasted out by it.![]()
It is 0 in hot as you only want pick out the good stuff. So yes, lower it to suit.dep1699 wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2019 10:42 pmI think this is the default in hot program and maybe in many other programs. Hot uses 0, but whatever your other settings are, Iron Vol. doesn't work in full tones. I don't know why, because you still have a discrimination range that should work the same as the other options, but it doesn't.
You still get the odd chirp, using full tones with discrimination, but not what you'd expect from other programs.
Quite right, from memory I think in 'full tones' you just hear it all regardless of any disc settings.Buriedbytime&dust wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2019 11:16 pmEasylife wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2019 10:49 pmIt is 0 in hot as you only want pick out the good stuff. So yes, lower it to suit.
