Hi all
I bought a used set of ws5 headphones and tried them out yesterday (I've been using WS4s for 3 years). And they sound terrible very tiny, not at all like the ws4.
Cheers Nigel

They do sound different but if they sound really bad I suggest you might have a faulty pair. Are both ears working?

Faulty then - I’d give Regton’s a call. I have a pair of both wS4s and 5s and the 5s sound softer, not as sharp as the 4s, but they have never sounded tinny.
Give em a shake, one set of ws5's I owned had an issue where a little chip was loose in one of the ear cups,it was a little blue thingy? The chip itself is tiny and I'd reccomended all trying this by the way as although still working just wasn't right. Give ya headphones a little shake and see if anythings loose
