hi, struggling with tape measure bit, do l need to report this? found with deus, gold max power,
stubble field, 18'' down.[attachment=0]500mm..jpg[/atta

You are not legally obliged to report it if it was a single item find.

However the code of responsible metal detecting does advise finds are recorded. This is a lovely item and historically important for your area so I would strongly encourage you to record it.
