It seemed more of a small coil, higher frequency and faster response VS the opposite, rather than comparing software versions. Why not have the V2 in 18khz with a 9" coil? It just demonstrated that a larger coil has inferior target separation, and sounded like it was on a low reactivity setting also, maybe the worst set up they could go for on V2 for that site. Ok, they stated which program V4.1 was using but not what program or settings V2 was using? And where was the supposed air test of the last target? Hardly anything to base a purchase decision on.

Excellent points ... its like when the Blue car and the red car had a race... the blue car wins ... hence all blue cars are better than red cars!!! The thing is with these flimsy comparisons is that the authors may think that all and sundry are of a kind... ie. without the necessary strength of synapse to make commonsense connections ... and that is precisely why the occult, paranormal, UFO, conspiracy theory, and dowsing etc etc etc have such a big following ... they just dont have sufficient Acetylcholinesterase to allow their grey matter to kick in..
Sadly there is an inverse correlation ... those with the lowest levels of acetylcholinestarase are most likely to look down upon those with the highest levels, and that is why hooliganism, vandaalism, and every other type of ism ... always wins out!!! hey ho.

In my head this is a comparison aimed at the user using the older coil and the older software, to show what you could gain from the latest coil and software (as at the time this was filmed).

It isn’t going to give a massive difference on every signal and in every set of conditions but this video does demonstrate that higher frequencies, with the software to allow it to function, will highlight signals that the older lower frequency coils (and the old software) won’t.

You can agree, or not. I’ve found the hf coil on Roman sites finds loads more. It isn’t as much if an advantage on some other sites. Horses for courses and all that.

Very disappointing for a Gary video. Watch closely, I spotted at least two 'pre cut' holes on the video. Not suggesting the finds were planted,but maybe a peek had already been had.
